Firefox Quick Tip: Disable Java

Many times Java appletts that are used in many web pages can cause a lot of problems and that's why I decided that it might be worth it to disable Java on browsers such as Firefox, so that the page loads quickly and more efficently. Yes although it might stop you from viewing the page clearly at least you can load the page without waiting for a long time (depending on your internet connection).

Here's how to turn it of:
  1. Click on Tools in the menubar
  2. Click on Options...
  3. Click on the Content tab
  4. Uncheck 'Enable Java'
Now you can happy browse the net without worrying about crazy Java applets slowing you down or causing problems!
